Overflowing goodness, of all kinds ~ abstraction allows your mind to wander ~ but the idea is a harvest ripe and juicy with reward.
There is a particular style to this that I’ve used many times, you can see it in the areas of background color, the red/purple and the green/tan. I call it hatching, or hatch marks ~ they remind me of (and I use them for this often) the basket weaving of the Wabanaki who trickled their ancestral line all the way to me.
This piece never turns off. It is always full, abundant, rich, and full of wonder and interest ~ the texture alone is gorgeous and interesting. I’ve tried to capture its unique character in the
photos ~ showing it within a white wood floater frame, or a gold and black floater that shows more of the edge of the painting.
This is painted on all sides, as shown, so it does not need a frame at all ~ and that is how I am selling it. As is, painted on all sides, which are a nice deep 1.5″, and wired ready to hang. There is no additional fee for shipping or delivery, and this arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
