How do I purchase an original painting that I don’t see on your website?
If I have the painting in stock, I will add it to the SHOP for you to purchase. If it is with a gallery or reserved for a show or framing etc., we can discuss your options.
What if I’m not satisfied, what is the return policy?
I’m developing my policies page, but generally speaking, I want you to be 100% satisfied. I’ll do whatever it takes. As well, the print-on-demand companies that offer my products ALSO offer 100% satisfaction ~ and I back them up with my guarantee. I’m not selling my art to make a sale ~ I’m selling my art to develop relationships. This is a personal business and I intend to be here for the long run.
What about privacy and affiliates?
I will never spam you or sell my data to 3rd parties and you can unsubscribe at any time, no questions; however, I’m a professional artist to make a living. I’ll use affiliations and sponsorships and advertising ~ but I’ll do my best to make them non-intrusive, easy to avoid.

Does it cost anything?
Yes and no. There are NO fees ~ though we exchange things of value. I offer free art downloads, a newsletter to summarize my business activities, and access to my behind-the-scenes studio content. You offer your sincerity and your contact information.

What is Collector Club?
An exclusive group with exclusive benefits. Anyone who has purchased an original painting from me, or who hopes to in the future is my priority. That may sound obvious, but it’s stated with sincerity of commitment to developing relationships with people who want to develop relationship with me. Simple, no tricks, just a focus.
Does it cost anything?
Yes and no. There are NO fees ~ though we exchange things of value. You receive the benefits of VIP’s, plus I mail you free art originals, and offer you free zoom, phone and text as needed. As well, Collectors have wet-paint access: this is first purchase opportunity. Unless commissioned, no original painting will be sold before it is offered to MFD Collectors. Materials, Media, Substrate

Are your media acid-free and archival?
Yes, I use professional-grade materials meant to last a lifetime.
When I include professional framing, glass is always museum quality with glare-free UV protection.
At every stage, including even how much water I add to my acrylic ~ I am considering quality and longevity.
Original Paintings on Canvas vs. Paper?
Rolled Canvas: This describes how the canvas will be delivered to you, or how it is currently stored. It is usually a large canvas painting, but any size may be delivered rolled, as determined during purchase.
Wrapped Canvas: Wrapped &/or stretched canvas, is canvas stretched and stapled onto a wooden structural frame. Wrapped has staples on the backside, and stretched has staples on the sides. My originals on canvas are mainly wrapped canvas with infinity-view painted sides.
Paper: I use a variety of fine art papers. Sometimes mixed media papers; favorite brands include Strathmore, Arches, Blick, and Canson.

Open Edition vs. Limited Edition
Prints
Limited Editions:
Limited editions are just that ~ Limited. These are prints (and sometimes originals, such as my postcard series) that are limited by quantity, size, substrate, etc. Less than 10% of my original paintings ever become Limited Edition prints. These are often attached to me personally and represent a message or theme that I embrace and want to share. For instance, VIP’s and Collectors received limited edition prints. Open Editions:
These are prints offered without limits. For instance, my digital art on mugs has been offered for over a decade. I have my art on pillows, fabric, posters, puzzles, stationery, business cards and more. I’ve sold several thousand sympathy cards with my art and message. These are never prints made from an original painting unless altered to be a new unique piece of art. Rarely do I limit the prints of this art.
Copyright?
Unless rights are specifically purchased, I retain all rights to my art, even when I’ve sold the original painting. To add value to the original paintings, I limit my print editions.
In some cases, a purchase will include my waiver to print reproductions. When art is given as a gift, such as my downloadable files for VIPs or my original postcard paintings, these may not be reproduced or redistributed in whole or in part without prior consent; they may be printed or otherwise used for personal enjoyment only.
