When I was a kid, I learned to write my mother’s signature so that I could forge my absent notices ~ I was hiking school to hang with my friends LOL Her name is Leah, and my middle name, which I use in my art is Lea. The way that I sign my artist name, mlea, uses the same L that I learned to write over way back when 😉🌸
L…. the first letter of Love, appeared in the top left corner of this painting, as I explored during the early stages of this painting. I chose to highlight it, and to make it the most brilliant deep gorgeous gemstone red, to bring honor to my mother.
