Description
Deep like the ocean, warm like summer nights and bright like the north star.
Swimming in Texas is gestural and dynamic but holds steadfast and dependable.
Acrylic and other media on 24×18″ wrapped canvas was first painted in 2022, without a bouquet. As my ability to express with paint matured, I found myself imagining more from the canvas ~ and so I made a change that couldn’t be retracted and moved forward with a painting that tells a greater story with a more contented ending.
It was completed in the same spirit of a summer night’s swim. and so the title remains in 2024.
Exhibited at Hearth Gallery, Portsmouth NH., Dec 2024 – Jun 2025, Abstract Palette Of Reflections
