Description

This 2023 painting on paper sets all the moods ~ a summer red, white & blue with winds blowing the flag, or warm evening by the fire during the first snowfall.

Bouquets of flowers, and heirloom vessels have been treasures shared for generations to express love, and elevate mood. This expressive abstract floral bouquet is all of that ~ moody blues, vivacious swirls with burgundy and bits of indian yellow gold, with a vessel scratched and a light from within ~ a truly unique abstract expression.

I painted this Strathmore 350# paper, varnished it, and then mounted it with professional grade medium to cradled wood with sides painted a custom complimentary color. This was all then sprayed with a satin UV protective varnish. I mounted this within  a solid maple floater frame with a 1+7/8″ deep profile.
