Description
This expressive abstract Christmas Tree painting dances with whimsical strokes and joyful bursts of color, yet it remains grounded in nature’s warmth and holiday tradition. Its large scale draws you in, making the scene feel both intimate and wondrous.
Â
Just You and I is a quiet moment captured in paint ~ marked by a tiny gold cross on the mantel and a spill of crimson berries drifting from above. Soft metallic gold catches the light, glimmering across the cross, brushing the rim of the vase, and lending the entire mantel a warm, radiant glow.
Created within the 2022 Peace series, this piece reimagines that familiar holiday tradition: walking past a neighbor’s window, catching just a glimpse of their Christmas tree, and imagining the stories and celebrations unfolding inside. Each tree in the series offers only a partial view—unique, personal, and full of mystery, like the families and traditions they reflect.
Beautifully presented on a 1.5″ gallery-wrapped canvas, the imagery continues around the sides for a seamless, immersive finish.
