Description
Joyful best describes this 24×18″ acrylic mixed media abstract Christmas Tree painting. Painted on Strathmore 400 Series acrylic paper with a linen texture, this piece has a beautiful surface quality that enhances the depth and dimension of the layered strokes.
Layers of acrylic, mark-making, and gestural brushwork create a dreamy bouquet that feels both spontaneous and serene. Professionally framed in wood with an aged-silver scoop, it is a contemporary combination that complements the artwork’s cool tones while adding a clean, gallery-ready finish.
Painted in the 2022 Series, Peace, this abstract Christmas tree celebrates the tradition of passing by your neighbor’s window, which has open curtains, to catch a glimpse of their Christmas decorations.
Each tree in the series is just a glimpse, leading you to wonder about the rest of the fanfare and celebrations. Each tree is unique and special, like each family and holiday tradition.
