An Original Large Atmospheric Abstract Painting
Dream Weaver is an original large atmospheric abstract painting. I painted it flat on the wall, unstretched. Once complete, I had it professionally stretched for crisp, infinity-view gallery-wrapped sides.
At 56 × 36 × 1.5″, its scale creates a presence in any space, whether hung vertically or horizontally. The color, luminosity, and movement capture your attention from across the room. As you move closer, transparent layers, marks, and gestures add to the story.
I painted this intuitively from imagination, capturing experience and feeling rather than representation. I build a painting through a series of responses, allowing it to become something I could not have planned.
Light From Within
56x36x1.5″
Light is central to my work, but I am not painting sunlight and shadow. I use color relationships to create the experience of seeing light from within. Warm colors remain active beneath cooler color, transparent layers meet opaque, and chromatic darks give brighter colors something to illuminate against.
I use temperature shifts within the same color families, continually changing how one passage is experienced beside another. The light is crafted within the painting rather than added at the end.
At this scale, light has room to travel through the painting. It can gather in one passage, disappear into a chromatic dark, then emerge somewhere else through a shift in temperature, transparency, or saturation. The larger surface gives those relationships space to unfold, allowing the experience of light to change as your eye moves across the painting.
Wonders of Life
I am drawn to the wonders of life. I see beauty in flowing water, changing skies, growing gardens, and Grandma’s favorite little vase. Everyday experiences of kindness, connection, and life inspire my art.
I bring that wonder and awe into my paintings through abundance, color, movement, and light. I want my paintings to bring more than color to a wall. I want them to contribute beauty, optimism, curiosity, and wonder to the life happening around them.

Although I painted it horizontally, the vertical orientation offers a wonderful sense of grounding and atmospheric lift. Horizontally, I find a journey from depth to brilliance.
