Driving Ms Daisy, 24×20″ acrylic mixed media on shell paper, with neutral mat and frame to 30x24x1.75″ under museum quality glass

$1,500

The original mixed media painting on 24×20″ shell paper, framed to 30x24x1.75″ in white wood with light gray mat protected under museum quality glare free, UV protection glass.

Description

Driving Ms. Daisy is an extraordinary piece of contemporary art.
Including acrylic, oil pastels and other media on 24×20″ yellow shell paper, this was professionally framed in 2023 on a neutral gray mat board under museum quality glare free, UV protection glass in a white wood frame measuring 30x24x1.75″.

The heavy white wood frame with its 1.75″ depth emphasizes the delicate nature of the shell paper painting, with its wispy lines and feathery strokes. The neutral light gray mat boosts the boldness of the color palette.

The story is one of freedom to play and colorful personalities. Driving Ms. Daisy is the first to be released of the shell paper paintings created in 2022; it represents the early works of Melissa Lea Simmons, a New England contemporary expressionist painter.

This painting is available 2 ways: with or without the frame.
Unframed, it includes the mat, and the price is reduced by $600.
