This original abstract garden painting presents my early expressions and exploration of subject and message.
The painting balances opennes and abundance beautifully. The airy upper field, paired with the density of the garden area, allows it to feel expansive without losing intimacy.
Goodmorning Dear uses floral language as a vehicle for abstraction. It combines my expressive marks with the energy of light, color, and prism that resonates in all of my work.
Titled with my mother’s voice in my heart, Goodmorning Dear carries tenderness, memory, and a sense of welcome. It feels connected to old gardens, painted rooms, flower-filled windowsills, fresh air, sea-soft color, and beauty touched by time. The work has New England character without becoming nostalgic. It is expressive, layered, and full of heart, yet still grounded by structure and scale.
The work was first released in 2024 after it was professionally stretched for a gallery wrapped, infinity view finish.
