Let’s Play The Love Game is a unique mixed media artwork where I reimagined the childhood game of Tic-Tac-Toe. Here, the familiar abstracted bouquets with X and O shaped vessels represent kisses and hugs. It is a visual dialogue of affection. Playful yet contemplative, each of my marks are both a gesture of joy and an act of emotion.

How I composed the Unique Mixed Media Artwork
Composed of 9 individual 8×6″ canvases arranged in a grid, the work transforms the simplicity of the game into a meditation on balance, individuality, and love. Each panel holds its own intuitive energy ~ a conversation between vibrancy and texture emerges through painterly movements. The expressive brushwork, loose threads, and unvarnished surfaces reveal the artist’s hand and her commitment to authentic connection.

Known for my expressive abstract bouquets, maturity of color balance, and my intuitive painting style drawn entirely from imagination without plan or reference, I invite viewers to experience emotion through color, gesture, and playful whimsy. The interplay of color reflects my instinctive sense of harmony ~ where spontaneity meets structure, and playfulness meets depth.

Professionally framed under glare-free, UV-protective glass, the unique mixed media artwork is presented in a neutral-toned wood frame with beautifully cut double matting in soft heather gray with blue tones. The framing enhances the artwork’s chromatic subtleties ~ brightening yellows, deepening greens, and lending crisp definition to the layered whites while harmonizing the blue vessels.
Intentionally left unvarnished, the canvases bear traces of their making. With frayed threads, expressive gestures, and various media, this is a testament to the artist’s approachable creativity and belief in beauty through one-of-a-kind uniqueness.
