Inspired by my experiences of the north country, of my New Hampshire.
Our woodlands and streams are entwined in all of my favorite memories.
On social media I follow artists, photographers, hikers and others who love and share my beautiful State, NH ~ One of my favorite accounts to follow is Chris Trembley, a photographer who shares his NH hikes and NH photography adventures on Instagram and YouTube.
So often I see my landscape paintings in his photos and videos ~ this one in particular was almost identical to a spot that he traversed. Whenever I see this painting, I think of his stories ~ I titled it Take Me, because he and the others take me back to my memories of Stark, Berlin, Erol, the Kancamagus Highway, our 13-mile Woods, the Androscoggin River, Swift River, kids’ pond, penny candy, Chapel Rock with Horton Center hikes, and boobie mountain.
Woodland camo greens with russet and pumpkin, teal, lemon, transparent lime, sunrises and sunsets, waterfalls, brooks, comradery, and bushwacking your own way ~ are all in this expressive abstract acrylic landscape painting.

UPDATE JULY 2024: This is entered to exhibit at the Kittery Art Association, Kittery Maine, with delivery July 8th. It has been framed in a gold leaf floater frame with black inset and is ready to show. The price will decrease to $850 if sold without the frame.
